What kind of resolution did you c ome to?
Are you buying a new camera?

Still trying to fix the problem. It is intermittent, so I am bearing with it at the moment. Went out with friends on New Year, they have the same camera and that too gave up with the same symptoms. Seems like Sony have a problem.
