JVC model GR-D91U mini dvd camcorder

I have this mini dvd camcorder that was a gift about 3 years ago. I haven't used it in about a year in a half due to the door not closing. It's the door where you put the tape in. I just called a JVC authorized service center which said it may be the meganism but they couldn't tell me about how much it would cost to repair. This camcorder has a really big lcd and I like it, however I have had the condensation error message which haulted my taping a important sporting event and now this. How can I find the schematics for this camcorder or parts number so I can determine if it is worth me repairing. I found you on pechorin website. Thanks Patricia
