i seem to be having serious problems with my wireless camera i use to watch my kids, its from fisher price

about 2 years ago i bought a camera with its own minature viewing screen that seemed to work fine up until about 2 weeks ago. now it seems as though the camera must be right near each other in order for it to work HALF the time. the piture scrunches up into a single white horizontal line when it wants to and bounces up and down the screen and even when you can see a picture it still comes in real shady. the camera does have sound that works fine but the picture is whats bothering me. i was wondering if there was a way i could better the recption for the camera to go maybe next door and if i do better the reception would it fix the white line from coming and going?
