Info sent via direct e-mail as although your model is an AA suffix variation of the GR-D73E (UK model), or US models the malfunctioning part is the same.

Hi, i wonder if you still have the information on solving the lens cap error on JVC camcorders and if so would you forward it to me. I have a JVC GR-DVL160EK. Thanks for your help.
