tv wont power on after repair

I had the ic chips replaced because of problems with convergenge I removed the board and took it in to be worked on when I put it back in the tv will turn on but it just makes a popping sound for about 15 or 20 seconds and then trips out no picture or sound. have any idea what it might be.
