Need help with JVC rear projection TV

I have a problem with my JVC rear projection TV model number HD-52Z585. I have vertical lines that are green, about 3 to 4 inches apart running from top to bottom the entire width of the screen. They are brighter when the screen is dark and are sometimes intermittent. They are visable more often then not but at times they will fade until they are nearly invisible but they are always there. This started several weeks ago, they would appear when the TV was first turned on but would disappear after about 10 to 15 minutes but the problem has been getting worse until they are on screen nearly 100% of the time. Any idea what is causing this? Thanks, Scott
