Hi, I got your contact info from pechorin.com. I have a Sony VCR "SLV 750HF". This VCR was in storage for about 2 years and since bring it back home I've been getting an error (L 30 01) when I play any tape. The FastForward and Rewind seem to work fine. The hi-speed rewind probably doesn't work -- it operates as regular rewind. When I hit play the tape loads the right side motor rotates until the slack is removed but then it stops. the left side wheel doesn't turn at all and then tape unloads and stops with the error code L 30 01. I am not sure what the problem. Could you please suggest what should I look for. Thanks a lot... riyaz.
