Someone recently stepped on my camera case and broke the screen. Is it worth getting fixed, can I order the screen and fix it myself?

Someone recently stepped on my camera case and broke the screen. Is it worth getting fixed, can I order the screen and fix it myself? The camera otherwise was in great working condition and has been well taken care of. Thanks, Bev
