finding software for that model

I have recently found my MD player and was estatic, that is until I tried to download the software from the original disc. It would not work. The message came up corrupt or uncompatible disc. The disc should be compatible with Windows XP Professional or Home edition. It is NOT. Please let me know if anyone has found a newer version and where canI get one. Thanks a lot!!!!!
