I just inherited a JVC RX-9010VBK Audio/Video Control receiver. Didn't think I'd need a new amplifier, but my (26 year old) Teac amp doesn't pick up FM anymore, so I figured I'd swap it out.
Trouble is, I can't listen through my external graphic equalizer. On the old Teac amp - and on my other stereo, which uses a Sony amp that's at least 20 years old as well - I run the phono and CD into the amp, run the "Tape Out" into the EQ, run the EQ back into "Tape In", and press the "Tape Monitor" button on the amplifier. The EQ has a switch to flip between the cassette player and the amplifier's input.
The JVC doesn't have a "Tape Monitor" button, so I'm a little lost on how to wire everything so that I can listen through the EQ.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
