I own a GR-D90U camcorder that i bought last year, i had lost the charger for it and recently bought another charger for it. But even though i have only used it 3 times altogether and the unit is still in its brand new condition, it does not seem to work, the red LED comes on when i turn it on or open the LCD display, but the unit does not play nor does the screen work. From the reviews that i have read online this camcorder has power issues, and it needs to have some sort of a fuse replaced, if thats the case can you please assist. Many thanks

    Its a case of was the charger you purchased the "EXACT" type for the camcorder, and also a JVC branded item? The internal fuse can blow but its 99% of the time caused by some problem existing, either internal due to various problems, OR if external due to a defective / unsuitable power supply.
