Re: Convergence problems on AV-48WP30

Mike Posted Nov 28, 2006, in response to:Mark Venable

I replaced the two STK392-110 with two STK392-150. Seemed to go fine but.... after plugging the board back in I turned the TV on and none of the laps turned on. You could here a ticking and then after several minutes the power button started to blink. Seemed to go into safe mode wouldn't allow me to do anything not even power it off. Didn't see any smoke which I guess is a good sign. Has anyone else come across this problem. Do you have any suggestion. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey I'm having the same problem, blinking power light, with my crappy av-48wp30. Can you tell me if you had it fixed, what was the problem , and how much did it cost? I'm debating whether to sell or just get rid of it. Thanks

Yes, this is the same thing I am seeing! It looks like all of the wires are plugged back in correctly, but nothing except ticking and flashing power light...
