Home | Previous messageJVC GR-D22U Digital Video Camera No matter what i do my screen is black and reads remove lens cap. I have only used this unit 5 times and it is mint - if it worked. The lens cap is not on and i have tried everything. Power down - no battery - nothing works. please help Thank You Jeff

Hi I have the same problem with a GR-D70EK mini DV recorder, saying lens cap when it is off and hence no picture/record display. Any assistance please. Thanks Ian I am having same problem - black screen with "Lens Cap" error message - and no picture to view. Camera has not been used much. Would appreciate advice on what to do.
