diaplay panel on cd amp unit not working

hi I have a sony mhc-1600 and have recently taken it out of storage the was sound was a bit wooly for a cuople of days but is now perfect again, but the display panel has stopped working so i dont know what cd track i am on or radio station or time. please help with any ideas what this may be or parts and price required to fix my little gem.
