Re: Sony DSC MVC camera repairs

I have a Sony DSC-S50 and the battery life is now only about 10 minutes. I replaced the battery and that worked ok for a very short time, like three cycles or so. Now that battery only lasts a few minutes again. I am using the in-camera charger. Sometimes the charging light is yellow for only a few minutes before it turns green to suggest the battery is fully charged when of course it isn't. Any ideas? Perhaps the battery charger circuit is bad, or something in the camera is wrecking the batteries so they won't charge anymore? Let me know what you think. Thanks.
