Can you please tell me what to do when the video camera thinks that the lense cap is on. The camera will not record while this message is present. JVC video camera model # GR-D33U.
Please advise how to reset the camera.

jvc gr-d33us error code e08 will not close with tape in it. Without tape closes fine. Says to remove and replace battery safety mode, doe not work.

E-mail sent giving full details on cause of complaint and with instructions on how to obtain the "free" (qualified) repair on this particular manufacturing fault.
