Help! Panasonic NV-MD 9000EN

Sanya Bamidele Posted Nov 11, 2006

Help required.

I am an Engineer of over two decades in maintenance of broadcast equipment. The regular display "to service" or "Reset..... ..." Has been a major problem to us and at first i thought it to be dirts on the head. Cleaning brings only a relief that cannot be guaranteed. I always like challenges but this has become a problem. Most cameras that arrive here for maintenance normally comes with this problem that looked so simple. Is there anything we are doing wrong? What is the best cassette that is most suitable with this camera? I have one with no display on the plasma screen since yesterday. The problem is coming from the board that carries the power circuit. Can anyone help with a clue. Opening to the this main board is so difficult. Is it possible I can be help with a download of the manual? Thanks.

for resolve "to service" you must remove mechanims complete and remove clyinder unit with 3 screw under the mechanims and one silver screw inside for head connector.open a small screw on clyinder connector and remove the clyinder connector from unit with carefully.you will see a small connector inside the clyinder unit with 10 pins(there are 5 pins up and 5 pins down of the connector)you have to soldering this 10 pins with a attenuate layer of iron solder.because there is a lose connection in this socket with clyinder connector.
