Problem with mini dv camcorder

I purchased this camcorder about 6 months ago. Neither my LCD nor viewfinder screens work now...I don't know what happened or how to fix. When in playback mode, I have the sound but no picture (on camera). The camera powers on, can hear the motor, but there is no picture. Help! By the way, I posted a similar message to "Sara" instead of "Stacy." I'm sorry for the mistake!!!!!!!!
