Hi Joesph: Glad to hear it worked for you as well. My son was on vacation, out of the country, when it happened to him and the warranty was to expire while he was still on vacation. Although it's a nice camera when it works,we won't be buying anything Sony for a long, long time. Very poor Customer Service considering the posts regarding this issue on the internet alone.
