I have same problem too. Since this problem seems to be quite frequent during this year (5-6 years after manufacturing), maybe it is related to running out of the internal backup battery? So changing it might fix the problem? Mike

- update: according to Sony's helpdesk, camera with this error must be taken to Sony service. So I would believe that end user cannot fix it. Mike
