Getting error massage when connecting JVC GR-230u with laptop using USB cable

Every time I tried to connect my JVC digital Video Camera ( GR-D230u) to my toshiba laptop through USB cable I get the following massage: "The software you are installing for the hardware JVC PIX-MCV Video Capture has not passed Window Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Window XP)"
