Hi! I have a JVC mini DV camcorder, model number GR-D244u. I purchased it last November and have been having a lot of problems with it. It keeps saying the lense cap is on and now it won't turn on at all. It won't charge or even act like the charger is on it so I thought maybe the problem was with the wall charger so I purchased a new one, which was not easy finding. I just got the wall charger in and it's still recognizing it so I have run out of ideas. I took it to a couple of camcorder repair shops but they all say it's going to be a lot of money to fix it so I'm thinking about just buying a new one, although that stinks a lot because I'm a poor college student and was very proud of this cute little camcorder.
