sony STR-DA2000es protector code 22

my sony reciever comes up protector code 22 even when all speaker wires are disconnected. happen once i used the optic cable. noticed code pop up turned everything off started to unplug one thing at a time, then back on and off until all wires and cables were disonnected. The code continued to stay on the screen.
