Printer's transport unit appears to be totally stuck now after I tried to replace two Ink Tanks. There's a harsh screeching sound when the machine is switched on and then it stops functioning altogether.

I replaced two ink tanks this evening and as I indicated above the printer stopped functioning completely. The message on screen reads: Error Code 5100. Besides, the initial warning read, Printer does not recognize these ink tanks. Now i'm afraid the replace caused some serious damage to the machine. Anybody familiar with this type of problem?
