I have a 35" JVC TV and all of a sudden I have to turn the volume up almost all the way to hear it.

I can't seem to adjust it so it sounds clear. I have always listened at maybe 12 or 13, now it has to turn up to 48 or 49 to be comfortable. I have excellent hearing myself so it's not me. Can't seem to adjust anything to make it better. Do you have any ideas?
