Glad it worked for you as well, it's quick and easy. And it's been a permanent fix for us so far!
My apologies to Eric whom I inadvertently referred to as "James" in my previous reply to onetoof. (Okay, I'm gettin' old...!)
Eric posted the answer to Carrie's problem post (June 30, 2006) on the white/blank screen issue on July 1, 2006 and has been kind enough to e-mail all of us with the pic and info on a different fix.

Thanks again Bob. My wife woke up this morning and was very happy to see it was working again.
I see you have the email for the alternate fix, could you forward that to me as well? just in case the problem arises again and I have to go to more drastic measures?
