have power, crt flashes, no pic.

I have a KV35S26 that will turn on, I hear HV, have sound, and a flash from the crt. No picture. Status light blinks once a second. I have removed the G board, I have light heat discoloration around Q601, 602 and associated resistors/diodes. Nothing visibly burned. I havent tested anything yet. A friend of mine recommended either kits 80-112 or 80-113 from electronix.com, but only half the t's match up.. Any advice would be great. I have a place to exchange the G board, but if I can swap in components that would be better. Thanks!! Jerry
