JVC camcorder problem related to LCD display and recroding

While operating the camcorder, the setting buttons got pressed and the image on the LCD has got disturbed. While all other functionality seem to be working perfectly (including previously recorded video tapes with normal clarity), any new recording appears to be blurred and light sources get completely distorted on the LCD screen and records the same on the miniDV tape. Can you help me to sort out the problem? Thanks
