DVC GR-D53AA not working thru USB

Hi There, I have the same problem is one of your other customers. I also gave a DVC GR-D53AA my computer is registering that there is hadware when i plug the usb in it doesnt work. There was no installation cd when I got the camera a couple of years ago but i downloaded the driver from driverguide.com. can u help? thanks!
