I purchased a Sony DCR_TRV 340E Pal three years ago and it works perfectly, except in June 2005 my firewire IEEE suddenly wouldnt work. Sent it back to the Sony factory through the camera shop where it was purchased and they had to send away for a new board which took ages It went well for a year and now it has gone phut again . I dont know what to do now. It cost me $380 00. to have it fixed when it finally came back to me . AS the camera is still good and I have many cassette tapes I feel I dont want to get rid of it yet. could someone inform me as to whether it can be repaired, perhaps using a part from another old cmaera which otherwise is no good. I would appreciate some suggestions. regards Annabelle
