Please can anybody help me get my cd's rescued

Just like many others that I have been reading about I also have CD's being held hostage. My Bose 6 disk cd changer is showing an code that reads , cd err fo. Does anybody know of a quick trick to free my captives before I shell out the cash. Thank you please respond anybody. I drive 40 miles to work and as of now it's torture.
