Video camra doesn't keep the tape inside at all.It keeps pushing the tape out automatically

We have shot a lot of previous moments with this video camera.But I broke it when I pushed the tape in with wrong side. Now when I push the tape in,the video camera keeps pushing it back out automatically.It doesn't hold the tape inside at all. Has anyone has any idea of why and how to fix it?
