Sony error code E:61:10

Stacy: My Sony is flashing the above-mentioned code and will not focus. I have also notice the telephoto button does not work. Does the camera need to be reset or could there be a problem in the lense zoom machanism? Thanks in advance for your reply. P.A. Peters, Ft. Worth.
