Stacy, I have a JVC GR-DV900 camcorder. I am having difficulty in accessing the menu and can not get out of safe mode?? I bought the camera second hand and have no CD Rom or Manual. I have downloaded the manual from the Web site but I still seem to be no further forward. Here's what's happening. I switch on and the screen comes to life. I get a message that the camera is in safe mode and to remove/ replace the battery. I do this but no difference. I can not take pictures or use the video. And as I said can't access the menu to see if I can do something from there. Any advice is Welcome and a service centre in New Zealand would be good.
