I also have the same video camera from 1985. How does this camera operate? does it have a battery? or the recorder you are talking about, what is it?

    The camera is just a camera and takes it's power from any VCR with a 10 pin camera connector. E was using mine (I have one too) with a Canon portable VCR until I lost the camera cable. Does anyone have one for sale/trade?
