I have finally obtained the part required to fix the camera on my D-SNAP. Although it is a SONY part they do not have a clue as to how to look up their own parts. You must order it from the model # of the unit you need it for. In this case I went to the local JVC dealer initially. They handle Panasonic here on the Island. But because the nomenclature for the part is "LCD PANEL UNIT" I found that to be a little misleading and didn't want to get extra piece's I didn't need. So I called Panasonic directly and got the same info and part number which is L5BDDYH00008. $106.57 plus shipping and handling. It arrived in two days, I have reassembled it and it works great. This part number can be used for all those other applications as well i.e. the cannon camera etc...I was highly disappointed with the customer service I received at Sony! The lady at JVC was just too kind! But what can you say, living in Hawaii is living in paradise! Go fix your camera's people! Bob
