Zenith D61W25 IC replacement and resistor burn

I am having problems with trying to correct my blue convergence it has pincushioned on the top and the bottom. I understand that it may be my IC's, but I also have a burnt resistor near my blue connection circuit. should I replace my IC's (stk 392-110) and is it guaranteed that that is the problem? there are no tell-tale signs of damage to the IC's and they look like a bugger to take out.. I can't take it to a repair person, because i'm up in the arctic and there are no repair outfits within a 1000 miles on me, and only by plane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
