Protector message, no sound, keeps blowing two fuses. Why?

Yesterday, my receiver kept saying "Protector" and shutting off sound, then there was a flash. I opened it and found two blown fuses on the board near the power cable. Anytime I turn it on now, they blow. The display and everything works, but no sound. Any ideas?
