help

I'm needing to know what software and versions came with the jvc gr-dv800u and where I can purchase them? I tried to e-mail jvc support for the info but they are requiring the serial number. This was my grandfathers and unfortunately some of my nieces and nephews have taken the sticker off and replaced it with sharpie and crayon marks as well as stickers of their own. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
