It is hard to say. The LCD could have gone bad and/or the flat wire that connects the LCD to the board inside the unit could have failed, be damaged or disconnect...there is no telling. You have a service issue but I am not sure it is worth it. YOu can check Wal-mart or other local stores to see what prices are and call Sears to see what their minimum charge would be. Of the LCD would need replaced...it is not worth repair as that part is usually over $200 by itself before labor is even figured in.
