Homei want to know how to transfer video from handy cam to laptop hello sir i have just bought JVC GR-D370AS, along with cam i got one cd navigator photo. i think this cd this for photo transfer. i want to know whether i can able to connect my cam to my laptop and transfer video to my laptop or not. i this model this facility is there or not and if poosible then which software is to use for transfer and download, and how to download. kindly reply me . regards sameer.

Hi Yo have two options for recording with the CAM. 1. Record on the mem card 2. record on the tape In case (1) you can connect the cam with your PC by USB port and get the images/clips with DIGITAL PHOTO NAVIGATOR But,in case(2) you must use the DIGITAL VIDEO CONNECTOR (DV port) on your cam. it's better you refer to your DVCAM Manuals bye Asalam alaikum hi sameer, Here alsothe same problem.. idontknow how to transfer the video to computer I haveDV connector but i dont know how to transfer.... have you solved ur problemm.. if rectifed that problem.. pls help me how to capture the video to pc... pls revrt b ack with regards javed thnk you for ur hachwa .."kawad" 3lah be3thali mala?? ya samir hram 3lik ... bi3tli kamira "mkawda" As well as the Firewire (IEEE1394) cable mentioned, you have to ensure you have some form of video capture programme installed on your PC, that is as well as plenty of hard drive space, as in uncompressed mode even 35 minutes of video can use up about 6GB of HD space. you have to buy one cable called IEEE 1394 Fireware Cable. for video transfer from camcorder to PC or laptop.
