I am having SONY F717 CyberShot digital camera.. I am very much impressed with this camera ( though I haven't utilized with advanced features of the camera) .
All of suden I see blue screen in the LCD and I couldn't take any pictures before it become blue screen I was able to take picutre but the images were filled up with white lines. I thought something was dropped on the lens and I attempted to clean the lens with a soft cloth but no improvement.
I took my camera to the camera repair shop and came to know that CCD need a replacement.
Please advise..

Go to sony site, there are major problems with ccd from 2002-2004 fabricage.
Mine's gonna go to repair tomorrow, if its from that date and if its the ccd they should repair it costless.

The CCD is never supplied by Sony and they will ask you to change the whole lend assy.Which costs Rs.11,400.00
may be we can supply CCD in the next 4 weeks.
