I have 98se on the master drive and want to install XP on the slave.

Can this be accomplished by changing the BIOS to recongnize the slave drive first or is it better to swap the two drives so the XP will be installed on the master. My current master drive is about to die but I want to retain the data long enough to transfer it onto the drive with XP.
