JVC Flat Screen TV - picture too wide for screen.

At just past a year old, our JVC model AV-32WF36 I'Art TV started having picture problems. All of a sudden, the picture was too wide. To explain better, if you are watching Millionaire or Wheel of Fortune, you can't see all of the question or letters of the puzzle. They go off the side. The picture is wider than the screen can show. It's not an adjustment problem, because it started to happen for a week or so then corrected itself for a few weeks, then went back to wide and has stayed that way. Any help is much appreciated.
