Getting Rid of E 61:10 Error Code on DSC-P200

After 14 months of owning the camera, with the warranty expired, I had E:61:10 come on the LCD when I turned the camera on. Resetting, SONY Web site, User Manual, SONY Customer Service(app.$200 if you accepted the help) did not help at all. Smacking it on a hard surface twice solves the problem!.. Thanks
