Hi there, I am suffering from a similar problem. I have Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Until recently I was using Sonic Stage version 3.4. I made the "error" of downloading the new version, 4.0, and after that had the same experience you had. Because I already have Service Pack 2, the patch at Microsoft does not work (it says it is not needed because Service Pack 2 is already loaded). I would be happy if you can shed some light to this problem. Much appreciated. Zeki/
