Home | Previous messageI had the same problem and pressed the case - just under the LCD screen on the back and "hey presto" the screen came back on. I'm not really impressed by Sony but at least I've got my camera back for the time being. Best of luck.

Hey...Excellent suggestion. Even I have the same problem and your suggestion fixed the problem. Thanks a lot sharing this fix. Thanks again. Great suggestion to press the case just under the LCd display. Thanks. Sony warned that displays were malfunctioning but this type (DSC-S40) was not on the list. I wonder what Sony is doing about this kind of problems, their reputation is at stake. |
