TV is on and when I hit the power button on either the TV or remote to turn it off the following happens. Sound goes off, red power/timer light goes off, but picture stays on. Hit the power button again and picture goes off, red power light comes on, sound comes on, and picture comes on as normal. In other words, we cannot turn the TV off except by unplugging it. This problem was intermittent about 3 months ago, and was able to fix it by just unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. However, now the only way to turn the TV off is by unplugging it. Any ideas or do I have to lug this beast to the repair depot?
