Condensation

I have a mini-dv 60 camera, and i want to film at the beach. The first day it worked. But the next day it says "condensation, operation paused, please wait." i know that airing it out works, but what confuses me is that it worked the first day, and drives me crazy the next. Should i turn it on then go outside? It is very humid, but again, it worked the first day. Actually, it was windy and i was actually on the beach.
