JVC I'Art AV-27F802

JVC I'Art av-27f802 picture tube stays on after television is powered off.

I have a JVC i'art av-27f802 television that has a problem with the picture tube not powering off.When turning off set, the power indicator and sound will turn off,but the tube will remain powered on.I had the set repaired under warranty when symptoms were intermittent,but now the tube will remain on until the set is unplugged.Thanks for your help.JP.

Same problem here - started out intermittent and I could reset it but unplugging the TV and it worked okay when I plugged it in. Didn't have the problem for about 3 months and now it seems to be permanent. TV is only 4 years old.
